About Me

Marina Amano

In my previous life, I was a "workaholic," consumed by the daily grind just to survive.

My career began as a television director, and until last year, I lived the relentless life of a freelancer, buried under video editing projects and remote work.

The harder I pushed myself, the more my mind and body withered, and a deep sense of isolation began to take root. However, exactly one year ago, my life took a sudden and dramatic turn.

Driven by a sheer impulse, I picked up a painting brush for the first time.

Then, a miracle happened. That very first piece—created with zero background in art—was selected for an open-call exhibition in New York.

Today, it remains exhibited and held in a local gallery there.

It was because I practiced spirituality, aligned my "inner self," and mirrored the energy flowing from higher dimensions directly onto the canvas.

What I value most is the free spirit of "SBNR" (Spiritual But Not Religious)—a connection to the divine that is unbound by any specific religion.

"When the inner self changes, reality moves."

This is the truth I have embodied through my own life, and it is the very truth I wish to share with the world through my art.

My Mission

When I was once caught in a whirlpool of self-sacrifice and exhaustion, what saved me was aligning my "inner world."

The mission of my art is to provide a sanctuary—a place where viewers can be liberated from the noise of daily life and return to their true selves. I hope that the moments spent with my work transcend simple appreciation, becoming a time to regain deep breath and converse with your own inner light.

I believe that when each person's heart is filled with serenity and begins to shine authentically, the ripples of that harmony will eventually transform the world into a more creative and love-filled place.

Through art and energy, may this be the catalyst for a beautiful transformation in your life.
